European parliamentary elections

The European Parliament serves for a fixed term of five years. The next European election is on Thursday 22 May 2014 from 7am to 10pm. The counting of votes will take place on Sunday 25 May 2014. 

The Regional Returning Officer for the European Parliamentary Election on Thursday 22 May 2014 is Mark Rogers, Chief Executive of Birmingham City Council. Any candidates wanting to stand will need to contact Birmingham City Council.

Herefordshire is part of the West Midlands constituency which is represented by seven Members of the European Parliament (MEP).
